Course Background

Welcome to this OrthoTraining Invisalign course, 50.01.v5-About Invisalign Treatment, that will teach the doctor and the team how to treat Invisalign patients delivering the highest standard of orthodontic care. This course follows a neuroscientifically-based method of teaching that guides the brain to learn quickly and remember important concepts so you can perform procedures at a high standard clinically.

This online presentation of 50.01.v5-About Invisalign Treatment was first published by Dr. Rebecca Poling when she was a professor at New York University College of Dentistry. In 2017, she taught 400 second-year dental students “basic orthodontics and Invisalign” as part of an Esthetics Lab course, so that some of those dental students could treat their own patients with limited Invisalign therapy in the NYU Predoctoral Invisalign Clinic, which she also set up and directed.

All orthodontic treatment is a team effort, a system of individuals working together. Everyone needs to understand what is going on so that the team will be efficient and can trust other team members to do their part.
